Mumbai: Hollywood actress and former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has written to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) asking not to kill stray dogs and instead carry out effective sterilisation process. However, Municipal Commissioner Jairaj Phatak has reacted by saying that “outsider citizens” can have their say but the civic body will act as per the law of the land.
Anderson, who also happens to be a PETA ambassador and an animal rights activist, had written a letter to the BMC on Wednesday expressing concern over the pending proposal for killing ‘nuisance strays’ in Mumbai.
